About Us
Where we started
My family and I moved to Lubbock in 2021. Born and raised in Colorado, recycling was instilled in me as a need for our planet to continue on a good path. After moving to Lubbock we quickly realized that recycling in West Texas was lacking for everyday home waste disposal methods. We found a local curbside recycle pickup company. I was offered a job with them and worked closely with the owner, learning the business over time. Finding out that West Texas had this missing piece to the residents and business alike, I felt compelled to fill that need in the surrounding cities and towns. Caprock Recycles was born. Here for the communities and ready to make people smile.
The what and why
We are a residential curbside recyling pickup service. Rather than putting recyclable material in to the trash and adding to landfill waste, subscribe with us and will will have it properly recycled and reused. We also offer business otions as well. From cardboard only pickups to mixed recycling. 23% of Texas residents on avarage recycle. The national average is 35%. In small cities with no recycling options that number is virtually 0%.
